Nothing quite satisfies like a chilled and refreshing glass of Prosecco on a warm summer day. Heck, I’ll even take one on a blustery winter day! I love Prosecco because it is easy-to-drink and is a versatile food companion, especially with light summery salads, fish dishes, and even barbecue.
Ruffino, the iconic Italian winery founded in Tuscany, produces a splendid Prosecco, which is a sparkling white wine made only in specific provinces of northeastern Italy, using the Glera grape, which gives the wine structure and body. Ruffino’s Prosecco is fruity and fragrant with clean notes of citrus, pears, and apples. This Prosecco also pairs extremely well as a mixer in a favorite cocktail, or with herbs, fruits, and garnishes.
And, just in time for the hot summer months, Ruffino has introduced the perfect flute for outdoor entertaining. The Ruffino Prosecco Al Fresco Flutes by govino are chic, stylish, shatterproof, reusable, and recyclable, and are even dishwasher safe! The chic kaleidoscopic pattern of honeysuckle and citrus pair perfectly with the tasting notes of the Prosecco.
Ruffino Prosecco is affordable, at a retail price of about $12, and the flutes are available here at a cost of $20 for 4. I will be drinking my Ruffino Prosecco out of my govino flutes during picnics at the park, on the patio, and at the pool this summer. How about you?
